This is a blog about drinking chocolate and follows the life of Merkel Marmaduke through the cafes of Adelaide, SA and elsewhere, while he searches for the ultimate hot chocolate. Check this blog out for hot chocolate reviews, hot chocolate news and a whole lot of nonsense about finding a good hot chocolate. This blog can be accessed from the ChocAdelaide Android app.

Mamma Carmela, Vienna Hot Chocolate
Merkel and Myrtle returned to Mamma Carmela's on Unley Road. This time Merkel chose the Vienna hot chocolate. Sometimes the cream on top of a Vienna is overpowering but this time the whipped cream was light and had a good flavour. To compliment this the hot chocolate was not too sweet. This was a good Vienna hot chocolate for $4.30.

was part of a group of four that went there for cooked breakfasts and they were spot on. Fresh salmon, eggs cooked as requested, extras that were not on the menu, were made up. Well brewed coffee, again as prepared as requested. The service was reasonably quick, all meals served together, in a pleasant manner. The bill was very reasonable. All at the table were very happy, and from what I could see as the place was very filling up and others appeared to be happy. Also have been there on other occasions, with other friends, later in the evening for pizzas, cake and coffee, again, they were very happy, and the costs were fare and reasonable.
