Your reviewer returned to Charlie's Place in the Adelaide Central Market recently. This time it was to try the Vienna hot chocolate. This came in a glass mug and saucer with a pink and a white marshmallow in the saucer. The drink was topped with whipped cream and a dusting of chocolate powder. The hot chocolate was not too sweet and had a good chocolate flavour which is important for a Vienna hot chocolate otherwise the cream overpowers the drink. The cost was $3.80.This is a blog about drinking chocolate and follows the life of Merkel Marmaduke through the cafes of Adelaide, SA and elsewhere, while he searches for the ultimate hot chocolate. Check this blog out for hot chocolate reviews, hot chocolate news and a whole lot of nonsense about finding a good hot chocolate. This blog can be accessed from the ChocAdelaide Android app.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteyou should check out Waffle King on Sturt Rd, near Marion Shopping Centre. They have been open just over a week. They make their hot chocolate with chocolate from a chocolate fountain. It's very good :)
Thanks for the tip Kelly. I'll check it out soon.
