House of Donkey

Merkel and Myrtle visited the House of Donkey recently.  The house is an old building at 188 Sturt Street in the city.  This café specialises in vegan and whole foods and has relaxing hippie feel to it.  They provide friendly service and serve a range of vegetarian breakfasts and lunches.

Merkel ordered the chilli hot chocolate.  It came in a glass with a blue and white willow pattern saucer.  It has been a while since I have seen willow pattern china.  It was topped with a bubbly froth and a sprinkle of chocolate powder.  The drink was nicely spiced but not chocolaty enough.  The cost was $4.00.
