Hyde Street is a laneway between Flinders Street and Pirie Street. Hidden there is the little Five Star Bakery, which does a number of inexpensive rolls and bakery items. The bakery is nicely decorated and there is plenty of room for seating inside.
The hot chocolate was only $2.80 and came in a white ceramic cup. It had a white froth on top and a sprinkle of cocoa. The drink was probably served a little hot but Merkel was not in a hurry. The drink had a Swiss chocolate flavour. Interestingly it was served with a metal sugar canister and plastic spoon. It seems more normal to have disposable sugar contains and metal spoons.
