Largs Pier Hotel

This is a picturesque old hotel on the seafront of Largs Bay. The building has been renovated to provide many opportunities to look over the sea. The hotel has a good menu of standard meals.

The hot chocolate costs $3.50 and comes in a tall glass with a handle. There was a spiral of chocolate syrup on the inside of the glass and the drink was topped with plenty of creamy froth and a sprinkle of chocolate powder. The flavour was one of Swiss style chocolate. While syrup was sweet it did not overpower the drink.
