Merkel and Myrtle return to Saldechin in the evening recently to partake of the subtle tones of a Friday night Jazz duo while sitting next to the Martini Bar. According to the menu note Saldechin is short for "Salon de Chinoisese" which explains the oriental stylings and menu.
It was a warm evening and Merkel chose to try the Iced Chocolate which was only $4.50 on the menu. It was topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a sprinkle of chocolate powder. It was served in a tall glass and drink was an even light brown colour. The drink was chocolaty enough with a slight coconut flavour.
